Coeur Announces Completion of 1-for-10 Reverse Stock Split on NYSE

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Coeur d’Alene Mines Corporation (NYSE:CDE) (TSX:CDM) (ASX:CXC) announced today that its previously disclosed 1-for-10 reverse stock split was completed effective as of 6:01 p.m., Eastern time, on May 26, 2009. Trading of Coeur’s common stock on the NYSE will begin on a split-adjusted basis at the open of trading today, May 27, 2009, under Coeur’s new CUSIP number, 192108504 (Old CUSIP Number: 192108108). It is expected that the common stock will commence trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange on a split-adjusted basis at the opening of the market on or about May 29, 2009.

As a result of the reverse stock split, every 10 shares of Coeur’s common stock issued and outstanding immediately prior to the effective time were combined into one (1) share of common stock, subject to the elimination of fractional shares. Le Silver se retrouve au point mort , deux ans aprés la première secousse des subprime , et le début du déclin du secteur bancaire . 

Pas si mal , quand on voit les contre-performances enregistrées par les indices . L' Or caracole en tête , avec un return appréciable . Dommage que Jesse n' ait pas inclus les TBonds , qui doivent également afficher  un return positif.....

Est-il possible de manipuler les index XAU ou XAG, voire bloquer ou annuler tout simplementla cotation.

Dans la négative pourquoi détenir du physique est une meilleure alternative que de spéculer sur ces indices?

Certains comptoirs francais - Paris et Nice - de vente de métaux m'ont déconseillé - en vain - l'achat de 20 USD ou de Pesos, arguant qu'il n'y aura pas de prime á la revente car la qualité des piéces doit etre irréprochable. Il vaudrait mieux rester investi en souverains et napoléons. Ce n'est pas forcément ce qu'on lit sur les forums....

Bien sur, tous les marchés sont manipulés aujourd'hui, par contre il y aura toujours une cotation, officielle ou non.

Pour le reste, chacun doit se faire son avis et etre responsable de ses choix, c'est personnel, lisez, etudiez et agissez.

Ratio: Argent/sp500, à la veille d'un breakout.

La Chine a réduit de 40% ses exportations de Silver . Les chinois parient sur une poursuite de la hausse du métal précieux et augmentent leurs niveaux de détention. Ca sent le Corner , à terme , pour les short sur ce métal .

Pas de suite , il y a encore du chemin à faire . Mais on y va , et ce ne sont pas les petits jeux sur le Comex et assimilé qui y changeront quelque chose .....
